The Uashkhamafe-2014 project aimed at strengthening ties of Circassian diasporas, drawing attention to cultural and linguistic differences of Circassians and popularizing tourism in the North Caucasus has been organized in Adygeya.
The project started on August 16. It consisted of a car rally through Circassian communities, starting with the Black Sea coast and ending with Elbrus, and climbing of Mt. Elbrus.
Meetings of repatriates in Panekhes (Takhtamukaysky District) and Mafekhabl (Maikopsky District) and activists of Adyghe-Khase Circassian Parliament were held on August 17-18.
Circassian communities of Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Israel, Adygeya, Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, Krasnodar Territory, Stavropol Territory and Moscow take part in the project.
