German parliamentary deputy from the Greens party Cem Ozdemir, at a press conference held on October 4 in the city of Kiel in the north of the country, speaking about the Armenian genocide, said that the Circassians, his ancestors, suffered from the colonization policy of Russia. And this, according to him, cannot be hushed up, it should be discussed and should be condemned by the society.
The politician posted a video of the press conference "Germany and Turkey - about democracy, identity and recognition", at which his opinion was voiced, on the same day on his Facebook page.
