Since 2010 the Circassians in the world are celebrating the day of the Circassian flag on 25 of April. This day is an official holiday in the Republic of Adygeya and the government is regulating the various events on this day. In the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, the Republic of Karachaevo--Circassia and the Shapsough area in black sea, Circassian movements and organizations organizing events on this day. A large of Circassian communities in the Diaspora have also begun to celebrate the day of the Circassian flag.
Over the history of the Circassians, there was different flags and the current flag with the green color and the three arrows and 12 stars has been adopted as the flag of the state of Circassia by the decision of the Circassian People's Congress, which was held in the city of Tuapse in 1830.
