Mukhamed Kulov with Minister Culture of Jordan Lana Mamkegh
On May 5-10 Minister of Culture of Republic of Adygheya Mukhamed Kulov was invited by International Circassian Cultural academy to visit an event dedicated to academy’s annual report.
In the concert program of the evening participated performers of International Circassian Cultural academy including dancing group “Highlanders”, which took part in the 6th International festival of Adyghe (Circassian) culture in Maykop in 2014.
In the concert also performed honored artist of Republic of Adygheya and of Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia Aslan Tlebzu. Designer Madina Saral’p presented her collection. There were about 300 guests at the event including members of the Royal Family of Jordan.
As part of his visit Mukhamed Kulov had a meeting with Minister of Culture of Jordan Lana Mamkegh, who is of Circassian origin. They had discussed issues of cultural collaboration and possibility of concert tour organization of leading ensembles of Republic of Adygheya in Jordan.
Minister of Culture of Republic of Adygheya Mukhamed Kulov visited a number of non-governmental organizations – had a meeting with the head of Circassian Khase organization Samir Kardan, visited a school and a kindergarten, where Circassian language is studied.
Program of the trip also included excursions to cultural monuments of Jordan, such as one of the New 7 Wonders of the world – ancient city Petra.
