Three persons killed in Kabardino-Balkaria in shootout with law enforcers

In the Chegem District of Kabardino-Balkaria, law enforcers tried to stop a car for inspection. However, people opened fire from the car. The attackers were killed by return fire.
The incident occurred on the road near the forest not far from the village of Lechinkai.
The killed men have been preliminary identified, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reports.
Among the killed men, the NAC mentions Nazir Tokhov, born in 1989. According to the law enforcers, he was trained at a training camp of militants in Syria, and he took a direct part in combat actions.
According to the information available at the operational headquarters of the NAC, Nazir Tokhov got instructions from one of the terrorist leaders and returned to Kabardino-Balkaria, where he created a grouping of local residents with earlier criminal records. He was plotting to commit terror acts in Northern Caucasus, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
All the killed men were residents of Kabardino-Balkaria, the "Interfax" quotes a source from the law enforcement bodies of Kabardino-Balkaria as reporting. According to the source, no law enforcers were wounded in the shootout.
