Over 100 workers of "Sedin" Factory in Krasnodar to be laid off

On February 25, 110 workers of the "Sedin" Factory in Krasnodar will lose their jobs; and the enterprise has no funds for their dismissal payments, said Alexei Kuznetsov, Deputy Chief Designer. Maxim Mukhanov, the head of the trade union organization said that the full settlement with the workers "exists only on paper."
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on February 23 workers held a picket and offered to nationalize their factory in order to save it. According to their stories, the wage delays at the "Sedin" group of enterprises make up to four months.
According to Kuznetsov, all the enterprises of the holding have huge debts at the absence of orders; and the dismissed employees refused from proposals of their bosses and look for new jobs by themselves.
According to his story, the total debt to employees amounts to about 10 million roubles.
Kuznetsov is sure that if the state had not cast the factory in the lurch, it could have been saved.
According to his version, the enterprise had potential investors: the Moscow group "Stan", which comprises the heavy machine-tool plant in Kolomna, the Ryazan machine-tool plant, the Ivanovo heavy machine-tool plant and the Sterlitamak machine-tool plant; and the commercial bank "Kubankredit", which had provided the factory with the loans to fulfil the state order.
