Nadezhda Savchenko's condition has worsened

The health status of the Ukrainian servicewoman Nadezhda Savchenko, who went on a hunger strike after being sentence by the Donetsk City Court, has deteriorated; and doctors prescribed IV drip for her, her advocate said.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 22 Nadezhda Savchenko was found guilty by the above court of the Rostov Region of involvement in the death of two Russian journalists in the Donbas and illegally crossing the Russian border and sentenced to 22 years in a general-security colony. The sentence came into force on April 5, and on April 6, Savchenko announced an indefinite dry hunger strike.
Today, Nadezhda Savchenko was visited by her sister Vera; and in her words, her sister is in "a very bad condition," said Nikolai Polozov, an advocate of the Ukrainian aviatress.
"By her health condition, doctors decided to treat Nadezhda with a drip bulb every day," the "RIA Novosti" quotes the advocate as saying.
Let us remind you that on March 25, Sergey Ivanov, the head of the Russian presidential administration, said that Nadezhda Savchenko may be exchanged for some other prisoner, but the decision should be taken personally by Vladimir Putin.
Nadezhda Savchenko is on the list of persons recognized as political prisoners by the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial".
