Judge shot dead in Karachay-Circassia Republic

In Karachay-Cherkessia, Ruslan Botashev, the acting chairman of the Malokarachay District Court, was shot dead in his own car in the village of Pervomaiskoe, reports the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
"According to the preliminary information, at about 11:30 a.m., Ruslan Botashev, Judge of the Malokarachay District Court, left the 'Nadezhda' shop in the village of Pervomaiskoe and took to the wheel of a Toyota car. At that moment, an attacker approached him and fired at him four shots from a rifled firearm," reports today Sergey Shuvaev, an official of the ICRF's Department for Karachay-Cherkessia.
After that, the gunman went away from the car, but then returned and fired at Ruslan Botashev once more. The judge died from the got gunshot wounds, the "Interfax" reports with reference to Sergey Shuvaev.
In Karachay-Cherkessia, according to the information published on the website of the Malokarachay District Court, Ruslan Botashev was its acting chairman.
