An experienced climber Gennady Viktorovich Dolgov from Adygea this year took part in an expedition to the most beautiful mountain of the Himalayas, Ama Dablam (6856 meters). On the day of the ascent, the team of the 4 people 100 meters from the top suddenly one of the athletes start feeling bad.
“Everything went well, we were already in the final part of such a difficult route, the peak of Ama Dablam has already opened before our eyes,” says Gennady Dolgov. - And then my partner in a bunch began to lose consciousness. He was very ill. Human life depended on our actions. And, of course, no matter how the peak beckoned, we began to lower our friend down.
The next day, one of the members of the expedition Oleg Gennadievich Afanasyev made a single attempt to climb, which was crowned with success. At this time, the remaining climbers continued to lower to the nearest settlement of Nepal - Pangboche (3900 m). Today, the ill athlete is feeling well.
