The head of Kabardino-Balkaria Republic Yuri Kokov issued a decree on the creation of a new holiday in the republic - the Day of the Adyghe (Circassians),-reported the press service of the head.
"Due to the numerous appeals of citizens of Kabardino-Balkaria, and according to the wishes of the Adyghe public organizations decided to declare the 20 of September as the day of Adygheans ," - said in the text of the decree.
This day is set as holiday (non-working) for all people living in the republic. The decree came into force on the date of its signing.
