Maykop: festival of the Adyghe (Circassian) cheese

On October 5, in the central square of Maykop, the capitol of the Republic of Adygeya passes V republican festival-competition "The Circassian cheese", which is confined to the 23-year anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Adygeya. 

The festival is attended by about 40 contestants - representatives of all regions of the republic, who created in the square their farmstead. Each masters prepare cheese, flour products and invites visitors to taste. The Circassian cheese is widely used for cooking dumplings, cakes, small cakes called gobat and traditional pastry halyuzh.
