Yalcin Kaya has noted that his great-grandmother was a Circassian and that he feels a genetic relationship with the Circassian people. In the second part, he collected the materials about the Russian-Caucasian war, and he devoted the third part of his three-volume book to the history of the resettlement of the Circassian people from the Caucasus to Turkey.
