The murder of a 24-year-old reporter of the newspaper "Gazeta Yuga" committed in the capital of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR) was recorded by a video camera installed in one of the cars. According to investigators, the man suspected of the murder was a common-law husband of the victim.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 10, the body of the young woman with knife wounds was found not far from a railway-crossing in Suvorov Street. A local resident was detained on suspicion of the murder.
The incident was recorded by a video camera of a car, which stopped nearby. The video record shows a struggle occurring near the railroad tracks. A driver and a woman from a foreign-made car went to the place of the incident; however, when they saw what was happening, both of them run away. According to eyewitnesses, they saw young people quarrelling near the railroad tracks and called the police, the "City Telegraph. Mineralnye Vody" reports.
According to the investigators, the defendant was a common-law husband of the victim, and both of them were members of the rock band "Vitamin D". The defendant was taken into custody as pre-trial restriction measure. He is to undergo psychiatric examination and examination for traces of narcotics or psychotropic drugs.
