Teachers of Nartkala House of Children's Creativity claim pressure of new managers

In Nartkala, teachers of the House of Children's Creativity merged by the local art school are allowed to continue their professional duties in case they sign consent to the reorganization of their House. The teachers treat the actions of the new managers as pressure, and the acting director believes that she only executes the reorganization algorithm.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the administration of the Urvan District of Kabardino-Balkaria decided to merge the House of Children's Creativity in Nartkala and the art school. Zera Khamgokova, Director of the House of Children's Creativity, who opposed the merger, was dismissed. She has filed a lawsuit to the court demanding to cancel the reorganization of the House. However, the district court has rejected her lawsuit.

According to the teachers, in 2014-15, they were retrained at their own expense, for which each of them had to pay 15,000 roubles. The teachers see no places for them in the new institution.

Ravida Kardanova, Acting Director of the new institution, has claimed the teachers are not subjected to pressure. According to her, she sends post letters to the teachers asking for notifications of their consent or disagreement concerning their future work and waits for their responses.

The Urvan District has a poorly developed system of further education, says Fatima Mustafaeva, a resident of Nartkala. According to the woman, the elimination of the House of Children's Creativity is a "gross mistake.
