Members of the Sakhalin eco-tourist club 'Pioneer' are going on an expedition to Kabardino-Balkaria.
Photographers, bloggers and historians, as well as students of Sakhalin State University studying tourism, will arrive in the republic in April-May.
'Pioneer' activists already visited the republic six years ago to climb Elbrus. "in the first days it has already become clear that we were in a fabulously beautiful region, rich with monuments of nature and history, with a kind and hospitable population. At that time, only four guys were able to climb Elbrus, and we regret that there was so little time to explore the beauty of Kabardino-Balkaria, and so we have decided to modify the program in the future," the head of the expedition, the director of Polytechnic College of Sakhalin State University Sergey Sharov informed, RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
