Makhachkala, October 2, 2015.
The Russian-Turkish enterprise "Asera-Agromir" has been launched in Dagestan. The Holding was established with the partial merger of the Turkish company "Asera" and Dagestan agricultural company "Agromir." The initiator of the project is the deputy of the republican Legislative Assembly Shamil Isayev, who curates the sphere of greenhouse vegetable growing.
This has been announced at the recent meeting with the deputy Prime Minister RD Sharip Sharipov held in Dagestan State University of National Economy.
The deputy Prime Minister, together with the deputy of Dagestan parliament Shamil Isayev and the president of the company "Asera" Farid Agil oglu Khalilov visited the site allocated for the new investment project. The company "Asera" has already started the construction of the greenhouse complex for "Yugagroholding" with the total area of 5.5 hectares.
As to S. Isayev, the joint venture will produce metal structures for the construction of greenhouses throughout the North Caucasian region. Besides, the enterprise will be engaged in the production of cardboard packaging. For the present time, Dagestan agricultural growers are experiencing difficulties and are forced to order expensive bottles in other regions of country.
"There is another unique nuance. A greenhouse for the production of vegetable seedlings will be constructed on the area of 1 hectare with the capacity of up to 5 million pieces per year on the basis of "Asera-Agromir". Until now, Dagestan farmers had to purchase seedlings in other regions. The Russian-Turkish agricultural holding will give the republic more than 200 jobs. In a crisis, it is a great support for the economy of the republic " - Shamil Isayev assured.
Besides, a logistics center and a special center for free training agronomists working in the industry will be created as the structural subdivisions of the enterprise. All these facilities will be created for both Dagestan and the entrepreneurs from Chechnya, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Adygeya, Stavropol territory, Karachay-Cherkessia and North Ossetia-Alania. The management of the new company undertakes certain measures to provide the material and technical support for the modernization of greenhouses.
According to Isayev, the republic possesses more than 2 thousand hectares of greenhouses, which indicates that Dagestan lags behind many other regions, including Turkey and Azerbaijan.
