In October 2015, 28 persons fell victim to armed conflict in Northern Caucasus


In October 2015, at least 28 people suffered from the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus; of them, 22 persons were killed and six others wounded. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
In Dagestan, in October 2015, 16 people fell victim to the armed conflict; of these, 14 people were killed and two others wounded. 13 alleged members of the armed underground were killed when rendering armed resistance to law enforcers, or in the course of counterterrorist operations (CTOs). As a result of clashes with members of illegal armed formations (IAFs) and attacks of unidentified persons, one law enforcer died and two others were wounded.
In Chechnya, six people suffered; three of them were killed and three others wounded. During the CTO, conducted on October 8, three alleged members of the armed underground were killed, and three law enforcers were wounded.
In Ingushetiain the course of CTOs, five alleged IAF members were killed; and another one was wounded.
In Kabardino-Balkaria, Karachay-Cherkessia, North Ossetia-Alania and in Stavropol Territory no victims of the armed conflict were registered in October 2015.
