The Court liquidated "Environmental Watch on North Caucasus"

Supreme Court of Republic of Adygeya issued a decision on 24 October 2014 to liquidate the Interregional environmental and human rights organization "Environmental Watch on the North Caucasus",- reported IP Yuga.ru.

According to the source, the court granted the application received from the Department of the Ministry of Justice of Russian Federation in Adygeya, and decided to eliminate the "Environmental Watch on the North Caucasus" and removed from the Unified state register of legal entities. Within a month of the decision can be appealed to the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.

March 21 of this year, the Ministry of Justice of Adygeya for six months suspended the activities of "Environmental Watch on the North Caucasus".  The reason for this decision was a breach of federal law identified in the planned audit of the organization.
