A monetary reward for information about the perpetrators of the murder of Khadis Bottaev, Chief Physician of the Republic's Clinical Hospital, was announced by relatives of the casualty, says the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Kabardino-Balkaria.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 5, 2015, in the village of Khasanya, located in a suburb of Nalchik, Khadis Bottaev was shelled and died from a gunshot wound. Investigators check the links of his murder with the reforms launched by Bottaev in his hospital, and asserts that the crime was committed by several criminals. However, so far, they have no suspects.
On March 27, 2015, Khadis Bottaev was appointed the head physician of the Republican Clinical Hospital. He dismissed 311 employees of the hospital. He closed private pharmacies operating in the territory of the hospital, and he was fighting against the practice of receiving bribes by doctors of the hospital.
